Many scientists live in areas with a significant number of EDC researchers in a certain geographic area. The first regional group, in North Carolina (EDC-NC) has almost 100 members, provides webinars and a yearly workshop in addition to sharing information on meetings, symposia, and publications. This regional working group functions with the help of a local organizing committee and the interest of scientists in the area to improve communication and education.
Our goal is to develop a network of Regional Working Groups. We are working with scientists in various areas of the world, including France, Argentina, Spain, South Africa, and more, to set up working groups worldwide.
