A summary of articles on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) added to PubMed the past two weeks.
Contents: Events, Regulations/ Policy, Methods/Tools/Screening, Commentaries, Reviews/Meta-Analyses, Human Health Studies, Laboratory Studies, Exposure/Environment Studies
Highlights:
Microplastics everywhere: in intestinal tissue of Crohn’s disease patients, in human ovarian follicular fluid, in human skeletal tissues, with major adverse cardiac events in patients with myocardial infarction and due to cardiopulmonary bypass in children. Along with chemical exposures in neonatal, pediatric, and cardiac intensive care units.
